100 Family Feud Questions and Answers (with Points) for Game Night

100 Family Feud questions with answers and points: family, kids, food, holidays and funny rounds, plus Fast Money and 4 printable card sheets for game night.

Download the printable pack (PDF)5 sheets, US Letter and A4 friendly, with answers

Family Feud is the easiest game show to play at home, because nobody needs to know anything. The whole game is guessing what other people would say, which is why a nine-year-old can beat a professor and a grandma can beat everyone. The hard part is the prep: most lists online give you the questions, but not the answers with points, and without points there is no board, no steals and no drama.

This list fixes that. You get 100 Family Feud questions and answers with points, grouped into rounds: family and home, food, kids and school, everyday life, holidays and travel, funny questions for adults, sports and hobbies, and a Fast Money finale. Four of the rounds are printable card sheets. At the start there are rules that fit a living room, and at the end there is a way to run it on the TV with phones as buzzers.

How to play Family Feud at home

A teenage boy makes tally marks on a whiteboard in a family room while one team on the sofa cheers and the other team hides their faces
A whiteboard and a marker are the whole scoreboard. Put the most competitive teenager in charge of it.

You need a host, two teams and something to keep score on. The host holds the answers and reveals them one by one, which is most of the fun, so pick the person who enjoys a dramatic pause.

  1. 1Split into two teams of three to five and line them up facing each other, on two sofas or on two sides of the table.
  2. 2Face-off: one player from each team steps up. The host reads the question and the first to slap the table (or ring a bell) answers. The higher answer on the board wins control for their team.
  3. 3The team in control answers one by one. Every answer on the board scores its points. A wrong answer is a strike.
  4. 4Three strikes and the other team gets one chance to steal. They talk it over and give a single answer. If it is on the board, they take all the points from that round.
  5. 5Play four or five rounds and double the points in the last one. The team with more points plays Fast Money.

About the points

The points in this article are our own estimates of how 100 people would answer, built from what comes up again and again at our game nights. They are not survey results and not answers from the show. If your family always says something that isn't on the board, add it. It's your board.

On the TV: how to run this

Start it on the TV, the rest is in your pocket. A paper board is great for one round, but somebody has to host, keep score and read every card, and that person never gets to play. On the TV the job disappears. Buzzin is a party game platform where the living room screen is the stage and every guest's phone is the buzzer. Which setup works on your TV is covered in smart TV party games with phones.

  • Want the full plan for the night, with rounds and a finale? Read how to host a game show night at home. For a crowd of 15 or more, see our party games for large groups. For a classic quiz round, use our general knowledge questions.
  • If you play it, tell us on Discord what you liked and what we should make better: https://discord.gg/nbVVeWNXFm.
  1. 1Open tv.playbuzzin.com on the TV: in the smart TV browser, through a Chromecast or on a laptop over HDMI. There is also the BuzzinTV app on LG TVs with webOS 22 or newer, Philips TVs with Titan OS, Android TV, Google TV and Amazon Fire TV.
  2. 2Everyone scans the QR code on the screen. Nobody installs anything or makes an account.
  3. 3Pick TV Show: a voiced host reads each question, four answers appear on the screen and the fastest correct tap scores. Up to eight players or teams play in one room, and the game keeps score.

Frequently asked questions

What are good Family Feud questions?

Good Family Feud questions have one obvious answer and a few surprising ones, like "Name something you lose around the house" (keys, remote, phone). Avoid questions with only one right answer, because then it's trivia, not a survey. Everyday topics like home, food, school and holidays work best for mixed ages.

How do you play Family Feud at home?

Split into two teams, pick a host and play rounds: a face-off decides who controls the board, that team answers until three strikes, then the other team can steal. The team with the most points after four or five rounds plays Fast Money. All you need is a list of questions with answers and points, like the one in this article.

How many points do you need to win Fast Money?

We play to 200 points, the classic target for Fast Money. Two players answer the same five questions, the first with 20 seconds and the second with 25, and their points are added together.

Are there Family Feud questions for kids?

Yes. The kids and school round in this article is written for children from about seven: backpacks, recess, bedtime excuses, snow days and the zoo. It also works in a classroom with two teams and the teacher as the host.

Can you play a game show on the TV with phones?

Yes. Start Buzzin on the TV, let guests scan the QR code and their phones become buzzers, with no app to install. In TV Show a voiced host reads the questions and the game keeps score, so the person who usually hosts gets to play too.
