TV Show

A real game show in your living room. A host runs the show, you answer on your phones, and between questions you can freeze the screen of whoever is winning.

TV Show on the TV, players' phones as buzzers

What it is

TV Show is a trivia game show for a group around one TV. A host reads the questions, you pick your answers on your phones, and faster correct answers score more.

The game has three acts and a sudden-death final. You vote on the categories together, and the question decks are written in your language, not machine translated. Between questions anyone can send a rival a power-up: a frozen screen, foggy answers or bugs crawling over the buttons.

How a game goes

1

Start it on the TV

The TV's browser, the BuzzinTV app or a cast from your phone.

2

Guests join by phone

Everyone scans the QR code or types the room code, picks a nickname and a character.

3

The host reads, you buzz

You answer on your phones, the TV shows the points and the characters react.

4

Final and podium

After three acts comes a sudden-death final, and the TV crowns the winner.

Power-ups shake the score

Freeze the leader's screen or send bugs over their answers. Nobody's lead is safe.

A host runs the show

The host's voice reads the questions and keeps the pace, so nobody has to be the quizmaster.

Who it's for

House parties, family evenings and nights with friends. Power-ups level the field, so younger players can beat the grown-ups and the one who knows the most answers has no guaranteed win.

TV Show questions

2 or more players around one TV.
No. Players join from their phone's browser by scanning the QR code on the TV. The app is handy for the host who wants to cast the game to the TV.
The decks are written separately for each language, covering general knowledge, pop culture and everyday life.
Between questions you can send a rival a handicap, for example freeze their screen or fog up their answers.
