On the TV — no. Buzzin runs in the browser. Players on phones don't have to download anything either: they join via the browser with a room code. You can install the app (iOS/Android), but that's an option, not a requirement. No account required.
The TV shows a short room code (4–5 characters) and a QR code. Each player scans the QR or types the code on their phone, enters a nickname and picks a character — the phone becomes a controller with A/B/C/D buttons and tricks.
Yes — players always play free, with no account and no installs. The host pays: the party organizer who opens the room. Players just scan the code and play.
Comfortably 4–8 players, up to 12 technically. It works great at bigger parties, where you play in teams.
A screen with a browser: a TV with Android TV, a Chromecast, or a laptop/PC connected to the telly or a projector. Plus players' phones with internet. Nothing else to buy.
Buzzin is a browser renderer, so you can run it anywhere there's a browser — including a console's browser. The most reliable and simplest options, though, are Android TV, a Chromecast or a plain laptop connected to the TV.
No. A voiced narrator runs the show — someone just starts the room on the TV and picks a mode. You don't have to hire anyone or run the quiz yourself.
Yes, fully: the questions, the narrator and the characters are in Polish. The narrator has two voices — an energetic host who runs the show, and a clear reader who finishes every question. More languages are on the roadmap.
It's not tapping on a phone. Buzzin is a full game show on the big screen — narrator, characters, tricks, category voting and a sudden-death final. Phones are the controllers, not the whole game.
Same idea — a party game on your TV with your phone as the controller — but Buzzin is free to try, zero-install and fully localized for your language, not paid up front and English-only. It's an original game built from scratch, not affiliated with any other brand.
No. All game logic lives on the server — the TV and phones only render what the server sends. The correct answer never reaches the phone, so there's no way to “peek”. Fair play by design.
They return to the same seat in the game. And if the whole crew drops on one WiFi, the game auto-pauses and resumes when you're back — nobody gets left behind.
Buzzin is a platform. Right now you play the game show — a quiz with a voiced narrator, tricks, category voting and a sudden-death final. We add more games and modes like swappable blocks, and new themes and updates land on a rolling basis.
Players play without creating an account. If you sign up by email, we do it only with your consent (affirmative opt-in) and only to keep you posted about new games and features — you can withdraw consent at any time.
